We offer bespoke holidays, catering for all your needs, whether it be a family holiday or with a group of friends, getting off the beaten path or even those wishing to learn to navigate..

Matthias
For many years I travelled all over the world by land and sea and worked in many small jobs before settling down in Copenhagen, Denmark.
There I managed a French restaurant for five years, but being passionate about scuba diving, and feeling the call of the open sea, I decided to fulfil a life long dream become a professional skipper and navigate freely around the world. Now, as a professional skipper and graduate of the Royal Yachting Association, I want to share my passion with you.
As an experienced skipper I use my knowledge and skills to ensure your trip is safe and comfortable. If you wish, I can also teach you the basics of sailing.

Though I come from the world of sewing and textiles in both the UK and France, as an adventure seeker at heart, I soon converted to the world of sailing when I met Matthias.
Often practicing Yoga and “Sea Wading” on the Brittany coast, I developed a strong connection to the ocean. It is therefore no surprise that I chose to leave Brittany behind and sail towards new horizons as soon as the opportunity presented itself.
As your hostess, I am very attentive to the needs of our guests and hope to get your taste buds tingling with my culinary talents. I pamper my guests and ensure that all your needs are taken care of when onboard Azilia, with the aim of providing you with the most enjoyable experience possible.

The history of the sailboat
Azilia is a SunKiss47 sailboat measuring 14 meters long. Built in 1988, she has been remarkably well cared for and maintained by owners past and present.
It was in March 2021, during a visit to the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, that we fell in love with Azilia. After purchasing her we sailed back to Europe, with a smooth crossing the North Atlantic. It was Azilias second crossing of the Atlantic, having made the crossing from Europe a few years earlier.

Nous avons passé, avec nos 2 enfants de 10 et 18 ans, une semaine extraordinaire avec Matthias et Pernelle sur leur joli voilier en Sardaigne et Corse. Leur professionnalisme, patience, enthousiasme et souhait de rendre note séjour agréable était incroyable. Matthias nous a fait découvrir de nombreuses criques et baies idylliques toujours calme et très pro. Avec des rafales de vent incroyables, nous nous sommes toujours sentis en absolue sécurité. Pernelle nous a soigné avec des repas sains et délicieux, et nous a entourés d’une bonne humeur constante.
Plus qu’un séjour, ce fut un moment magique. Nous recommandons vivement!
